1. Overview of Affirming ADHD
| 1.1 | Affirming ADHD is a provider of individual and group Education and Coaching Programs and Packages for adults. | |
| 1.2 | Affirming ADHD was designed to provide high quality, evidence-based content. Its Education and Coaching Programs and Packages are non-clinical in nature, and are not intended to provide assessment, diagnosis or clinical treatment of ADHD. | |
2. Structure of Affirming ADHD programs
| 2.1 | Affirming ADHD runs online events, programs and coaching packages, delivered via video conferencing software, and may from time to time deliver events in person. |
| 2.2 | Online events, programs and coaching packages may be provided using a range of webinar, video conferencing software or other third party software. |
3. Scope of Affirming ADHD programs
| 3.1 | All individual and group Education and Coaching programs and packages offered by Affirming ADHD are non-clinical in nature. These programs and packages are not Psychological or Counselling services, nor are they intended to replace Psychological or Counselling Services. |
| 3.2 | Affirming ADHD is owned and operated by Sarah Stokely, a Registered Practising Counsellor. |
| 3.3 | While Ms Stokely is a registered counsellor, the Education and Coaching programs and packages she develops and delivers for Affirming ADHD are not Psychological or Counselling services. |
| 3.4 | By purchasing and/or consenting to participate in Affirming ADHD events, programs or packages, participants acknowledge that they are participating in Education and Coaching events, programs or packages and are not receiving psychological or counselling services from Ms Stokely. |
| 3.5 | Any requests for cross-referral or registration between former clients of Ms Stokely and Affirming ADHD programs or packages will be assessed on a case by case basis, and will only be accepted at Ms Stokely’s discretion, depending on the individual circumstances and to ensure there is no conflict of interests. |
| 3.6 | If in the course of participating in any Affirming ADHD events or programs, issues arise for a participant which in Ms Stokely’s professional opinion are beyond the scope of the program, that participant may be advised to see their GP and obtain a referral to consult with an appropriate clinician. |
| 3.7 | Affirming ADHD/Ms Stokely may at any time and in their sole discretion, terminate a participant’s registration in Affirming ADHD events or programs if they consider it appropriate to do so. In the event of termination of a participant’s registration in an Affirming ADHD event or program on this basis, a partial refund of the participant’s registration fees may be provided at the sole discretion of Affirming ADHD/Ms Stokely. |
4. Privacy and Disclosure of Personal Information
| 4.1. | As part of providing services, events or programs to you, the company needs to collect and record information from you. Affirming ADHD reserves the right to record events, programs or groups for the purpose of reviewing and refining its programs, and for creating future online programs (eg webinars, or social media content). Participants may control how or if their image/information is used, by opting to refuse permission for Affirming ADHD to publish any content which shows their image, their name or any information or image which might identify them, by indicating this when signing the Consent Form provided when enrolling in group programs or events. |
| 4.2 | You are entitled to unsubscribe from emails from Affirming ADHD at any time by emailing hello@affirmingADHD.com with the subject heading “Unsubscribe”, or by using the unsubscribe link which is published in all Affirming ADHD newsletters and marketing emails. Please note that if you are receiving a service from us, you will continue to receive communications regarding your service, and communications regarding your payments, even if you unsubscribe from marketing emails. |
5. Technology Requirements
| 5.1 | Affirming ADHD services, programs and events are provided online through videoconferencing, unless specified otherwise. You are responsible for the costs associated with setting up the technology needed so you can access online content and participate in video conferencing programs, workshops, or other events. |
| 5.2 | To access Affirming ADHD online content, you will need access to an internet connection, email address and a computer or device with a web browser, camera and microphone. You should also have access to a private room or quiet space for the duration of any programs, classes or events you are enrolled in. |
| 5.3 | The privacy of any form of communication via the internet is potentially vulnerable and limited by the security of the technology used. |
6. Fees
| 6.1 | The fees set for any Affirming ADHD services are set at the discretion of Affirming ADHD and may be increased from time to time. |
7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
| 7.1 | The delivery of Affirming ADHD group services, programs, workshops or events may be cancelled or postponed at the discretion of Affirming ADHD, pending sufficient number of participants. In the event of a group program being cancelled, Affirming ADHD will offer either a postponed date of delivery or refund of the registration fee paid by any participant, less any bank or third party administrative fees, within five business days of the cancellation being announced. The delivery of individual coaching packages must be booked and fully used within 3 months of purchase for coaching packages of 3 sessions or less, or within 12 months for coaching packages of 4 sessions or more. Individual coaching packages are sold as one program, and must be fully pre-paid. |
| 7.2 | Where Affirming ADHD cancels a service, program, workshop or event prior to the start date, participants will receive a full refund, less any bank or third party administrative fees, within five business days of the cancellation. |
| 7.3 | No refunds will be offered to participants who cancel a group service, program, workshop or event by Affirming ADHD less than 2 business days prior to the commencement or delivery of the service program, workshop or event. At the discretion of Affirming ADHD, the group service, program, workshop or event ticket may be transferred to someone else to attend in their place. Individual coaching packages are non-refundable and not transferrable. |
| 7.4 | No refunds will be offered to participants who do not attend the service, program, workshop or event they booked. |
